NorCalIS's Ongoing Obsidian Project
So figured I should make one of these since it's been a quite a while since I've been stock. I apologize in advance as this isn't as complex or as well documented as some of the other builds in here. Also keep in mind this was done on a budget as I am still going to school and spent most of my money on the car in the first place. I also have literally done every mod except paint the front lip myself, no shops involved!! Anyways here it goes!
Bought the car completely bone stock from the dealer

Installed new fogs two days later

About a month or two later added the front lip

When on a bit of hiatus for a couple months, but ended up picking up my Jun-Tw Rear lip

Deleted the resonator

Blacked out the orange in my lights

Ended up cracking a OEM lobster claw, no I didn't hit a curb, you can thank Northern California's roads for that. Had three nearly bald tires at the same time so I ended up getting a STEAL of a price on a set of ISF replica wheels with four brand new tires. Couldn't pass it up!

Added the FSport Front Grill

OEM rotors and pads were trash, so swapped them for all EBC products

Was sitting like this for a long time while I saved for suspension

Ditched the OEM exhaust for Magnaflow, and wedged these Ap2 tips into my lip, ended up having to tack weld them so they would stay haha.

Looked pretty sharp except for that wheel gap!!

Then the coilovers came!!

Added some LEDs everywhere, switched high beams to putco JDM yellows

Was trying to dial in the drop, but put it in it's first show

Wrapped my interior in Black Carbon

Finally had it pretty dialed in

Curb rashed my wheels pretty badly so I decided I should repair and powder coat them, also picked up a spare trunk for another project! The back of my truck had a good amount of the car in it.

Finished the wheels and rushed to take pictures of them, and forgot to give my car a proper cleaning!

Added some vinyl to the lights, mirrors, couple of other spots. Put it in SF Autosalon

Powdercoated my Joe-Z intake to match the wheels

And this is how it sits, for the moment, currently have a number of things in the works, as I am not even close to being finished, let alone don't even have a legit set of wheels yet, so stay tuned!!

Thanks! I believe it's 275/35/19 and +35 in the back and 245/40/19 +45 in the front. I'm going to downsize the tires relatively soon width wise and going to a 35 in the front. I rolled the fenders, relocated the tabs, trimmed the fender liners and that's about it. It only rubs on big dips now. I'm assuming when I go for the smaller tires it won't rub at all.
Hahaha, yea my OEM steering wheel was faded and just beat, needed an upgrade. Thank you for the kind words!! but yea I wish Caltrans would pave over some of these roads!!!
