This is an intake made for this engine (3.5L) but fitted for the engine bay and wiring of the 2IS so there are some clips here and there that are no longer "clipped" down and a hose needed to be bent in a different direction versus the stock direction. Other than those caveats, this was a fairly simple mod. On a moderate to aggressive acceleration (350 f-sport) it adds a massive growl to the the exhaust. The growl mellows out when the speed plateaus but chimes in again when you accelerate even in the higher gears. i will be posting a DYI later tonight of the installation. enjoy these two in the meantime. =)

Looks great! Looking forward to the DIY. Will you post in the DIY thread or Performance section or both ?

I really want to do that to my wife's car, but I'm hesitant because it will just make the car hotter...like in the temperature kind of way.
haha..your clarification made me laugh...that was good.
uuummmm...i dont know if it would make it ALL that much hotter. i mean i dont have much to compare it to seeing how this vinyl was on two days after leaving the lot. lol. I will tell you though...this nuluxe sat in direct sun light one day and when i sat down it burned differently than leather. It was an unbearable hot. But it did cool down faster than leather wouldve. I say go for it. =)
thejaperu, how much did your guy charge you for that? I got a quote for $200 including the antenna, the same guy who did my clear bra and I know he does great work but just wanted to compare with others.
Looks great! The vinyl roof looks great on the IS.
