there are '98-00 LS400 LED taillights on ebay, ~$550-700/set, direct import from japan.

 

Nice pick up! Crazy story, but at least you're doing better. So that's how the red and clear LED taillights would look. I have the same color as yours, I've always wondered if they would match and so far it does.

not just RCR, you can get imported RCR for about half that price. the LED ones are the expensive ones.

 

Ah so non LCD RCR goes for 250-325 and LED RCR goes for 500-750 for the 98-00 LS?

welcome! i assume the LED tails came with load resistors. love the look of them! so weird the 95-97 tails are around $260ish, i guess the market is less for us.

 

+1 on pics for the headlight mod beam pattern and output. Are you using the stock lamps?

 

Roll those fenders and Drop that bish asap! So far so good though. Looking forward to the build.

thanks. Im tryin to trim/roll fenders, drop it more low, rebarrel the fronts to a steplip and move the rears to the front, new grill, new headunit with beatsonic dash, and idk maybe depending if I want to throw more $$ at it. Lol.

yea the whole set was just plug n play. Haha that extra plassic for the inners I guess makes up for the double price tag. Smh.

I was gonna post up pics with my digital cam, but gave up my search. Ill update in the earlier posts with iphone pics. They wont look pretty tho.

yea im tryin to avoid dimples and trim the fender just past the holes for the fenderliner. Then roll the rest.


Got the brakes install yesterday and posted up a pic in post3. Must say the brake feel is a lil different. Still breaking them em tho so ill wait to make judgement
