I'm currently in the process of figuring out my suspension (well, I've been doing that for awhile now... lol). Have two questions about shortened steering knuckles which have been bothering me lately. How do they play with bags, as far as overall suspension clearance goes? I'll be running sleeve-style bags for additional clearance, but it's still a concern of mine.

Another thing - while I do have wild negative offset wheels, would I still be able to run something like an 18x8 with an offset in the high 20s/low 30s? Or am I pretty much limited to super low offset wheels? I've read that you can't use wheels under 18" diameter because of knuckle clearance, but I'm wondering if that extends into the wheel offset itself, or it's just a diameter problem.

 

18x10 -9 has like less than a inch clearance with my shortened spindle. Just run spacers Preston. They'll fit.

Perfect! i figured youd keep something this nice for yourself!! I personally have 3 project cars I would never sell and would keep forever but I should be ready for something new when my lease is up on the company car in june/july...i dont want another project but always wanted a ucf20 on the kbreak mesh wheels and air,I almost couldnt believe this thread when i saw it i even like the color... ill pm you and not crowd your thread anymore but great work you have awesome taste.
