Default Mv350's '93 UCF11 Black on Black Pix and Progress Thread

WUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUppppppppppppppp

haha Hey everyone on the UCF side of the boards. Ive lurked and been having a strong urge to have ANY UCF body style. And when my 06 UL edition LS430 black/saddle fell through i have been heart broken so i settled for a G35, which i suggest to no one. I dislike the car a lot.

my sig shows some of the cars ive have (since driving in july of 08)
07 Tacoma
07 Is350 slammed and im the offset junkie for the 2is guys.
99 GS300 Vip projevt that i didnt get to finish, slammed on 18x10/12+4
03 G35 coupe shoudnt have got this one
72 beetle std. with a wber carb setup, slammed trailing arms, and 2 1/2" forged drop spindles
86 suburban 2 ton with a 454
94 GMC sierra 1500 with a 350
84 Rx7 with a weber carb and just fun to drive.
07 Silverado Creb LT (sig has details on it, we arent selling that thing lol

And now i have a 1993 LS400 Black and grey w/ black interior. I bought is from a member that just put air bags on it so FAT REUP nakamichi sound, memory seat 6 disc cd changer.

The plan is to weld the EGR pipe. Replace the cluster lights with LED and get it to light up properply(infamous problem ive heard). I have to get a ton of suspension parts for this so i can lay frame. other than that i wanna say thanks for being my CL family since my IS350.

now for some pics, its been raining so when i get her all washed up and detailed i will get proper ones.

its gunna take a while to put tis one together but it runs like a champion and im already in love.

Welcome to the LS forum

being here for a few years i shouldn't need to give you a primer on searching, so i'll just remind you that the wheel fitment/suspension thread is your friend, and www.lexls.com is your bible for basic maint. and stickies.

just a basic UAS on stock struts. im not gunna be posting pix until im ready to re do the valves, switches, and solonoids. Its a single compressor with a 5gal tank. I wanna go to 2 compressors and a polished tank. with a BC racing coil hybrid air setup. rebuild the trunk pretty much....basic lol

on the brighter side my interior is amazing except a couple things. like i need the ac control unit

and i need to fix my dash lights

the check egine light is a crack in my EGR pipe. which thankfully im ordering exhaust on friday and going next week to exhaust go to have my pipe welded, raised up so i can drive lower, and have the new axle back put on.

i also wanna go to the short bags instead of these regular sport aero bags.

this is only what ive heard, but they can shorten your bags for you i guess, im looking into it. but they come in 5", 7", 8.5", and 9.5" i need to just the car in the air and find out which ones i have first of all and go from there. im giving it until the end of the month to see if the bags sell if they dont im gunna start updating this one.

Looks good!

I don't mean to get off topic, but what didn't you like about the G35?

thank you!

as for the g35, it was after having my 07 is350, and the g35 was an 03. so it has electrical issues and dash always looked like a christmas tree. and the back end felt lazy, and a goofy amount of body roll. the gas mileage was also horrible in comparison. plus the power wasnt there. all in all if it would have been 06+ and a sedan i would have been happier. but that particular car ruined it for me.

side note, what would be best bang for you buck upgrades to the air setup? i.e. valves, shocks, coils, battery, compressor?
