Single turbo IS300 build
Slowly but surly. Got intake and exhaust finally fully bolted on, fuel system is mostly complete, just need to mount the bosch fuel pump and filter. Then I need to make a plate for the oil return(I need to find out what supra guys usually do for this), and do a little make-shift wiring just for power, and it should be ready to fire up. By this weekend it might actually be drivable. Then I will have some good updates and some pics to go along.
Kool post some pics whenever you get a chance .
fUel system are you going inline or intank? bECAUSE the 044 don't like E85 intank and i have (2) of them but i will be installing them Inline.
thanks

Yes the 044 don't like E85 when installed Intank, they work great Inline.
With the stock pump intake will the setup make 800rwhp on E85, I like to run (1) bosch Inline and Denso Intank do you think that will be good for 800 on E85?
Thanks for the quick reply.

well you won't make as much power with it in-take because you are fighting against gravity. When running inline you have your intake pump feeding the 044. I still don't see an issue running the 044 in the tank.
With stock pump and 044, yes 800rwhp is doable. Friend of mine did 900 on twin walboro, and I believe the stock/044 combo outflows twin walboro

I've seen the 044 in and out of tanks. I even think they make 2 for that reason as well. Either way its a great pump.
Spoke with Sean @ titan a good bit and almost convinced myself to get rid of my Greddy T78 for a 6765. But once my BL auto blows I'll go with Titan.

Got the IS to a local car show, but unfortunately not under its own power. If I had another 3 hours or so I probably could have driven it, but time was not on our side. Will definitely get it drivable this week.
You have alot of knowledge and a very nice build, but please get an ati pulley later on down the line and lose that stock crank pulley because it is guaranteed to fall apart no matter what.
Nearing completion, I hope to have it on the road sometime this week and on the dyno by the end of the week.
Here is the charge pipe to the TB. Had to do a pie cut type intake in order to get the radius needed. Havn't done a pie cut before, and if I had a little more time I would re-do this one as it doesn't quite meet my expectations, but it is still functional.

Fuel system:
I welded on a -6an fitting to the hard line just under the drivers seat and then from a steel braided line I have the fuel filter which then feeds into the 044 fuel pump, then -6an from the fuel pump to a y-splitter for a dual feed rail.

Then I found another issue, the dreaded fuel return. I had no idea that the fuel system on these couldn't handle the fuel coming back to the tank. So next step, pull the tank to find yet another suprise, DUAL SUMP, and no metal panels to weld to for a proper return. So time to drain the tank, fill with water, and then my favorite part.. welding on fuel tanks. I always use my TIG and my REMOTE pedal to test for lingering fumes. Even with a rinsed out tank full of water, I still got a pretty big fireball when I hit the pedal. Fun stuff.

The exhaust is a 3" mandrel all the way back. Didn't have enough stainless(project already over budget) to go all the way back, so there is a section of aluminzed steel in there.

Power steering reservoir from driftmotion, and I made an aluminum bracket and mounted in from of the drivers side shock tower.

in-tank is the factory IS300 pump which I believe flows about 250lph, so not much different than sticking in walboro pump.
I have personally seen the walboro/044 combo push 900rwhp on E85.
