Default LuxuryGS3's Reintroduction/Official Build Thread

Well guys since everyone else basically has a build thread.. Why not join'em amirite?

First i'd like to reintroduce myself (basically for laughs).. I'm sure all of you will remember me. I bought my 98 GS300 last summer as my first car and have been nothing but happy with it; for those of you that want a good laugh and for those of you that did NOT see my car when I first got her.. Here she is..

The previous owner had put 22's on the car and a lift kit.. Of course this was a no-no to me so I had to take these off asap..

I had no extra money, so I just did an even trade and got some stock LS rims and tires.

At the moment I didn't care about getting any sort of money for the 22's. I just wanted them off, so I did.

I then was not happy with the light output I had and since my car is not HID equipped I went with some Silverstar Ultras to upgrade.

A couple months later I scooped up a set of stock 05 GS rims from a friend..

Off with the old..

On with the new..

And here is where she sits for now.. (2/18/2011)

Parts Currently Installed:

-: FIGS Adjustable Toe Links
-: SilverStar Ultra Low Beams
-: NOKYA 2500 Yellow Fogs
-: Cleared Side Markers
-: Megan EZ Coilovers
-: Zone Forged 1's

Accessories:

-: Junction Produce Sirotsuna
-: Junction Produce Medium White Fusa
-: GLARE Fine Squash
-: Bellezza White Curtains (Only for meets)

Pending Install/Order:

-: Chrome Door Handles/Trunk Bar (Maybe Pillars)
-: Green Tint
-: Putco Jet Yellow Halogen Bulbs
-: L.E.D. Interior Conversion

That's all for now though peeps.. I will update as I purchase/recieve/install parts.

Negative. I had washed my whole car that day also so I had a lot of crap laying around the yard that I just used then sat down anywhere in the grass, haha.

Thanks man. I agree 100% on that, haha.

And that's forsure. I was so happy to get them that I almost just went and got them thrown on without a drop, but then again I didn't wanna look like a 4x4 so I decided to wait until I get my coils then put them on at the same time or a bit after, lol.

Well my toe was WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY out when I first got the car. At first the guy at Firestone told me straight up that it was my frame and blah blah blah.. BS.. After a lot of searching on here I found the FIGS Toe Links and also read that the stock links tend to go poop and give you toe problems, so I ordered those and BAM fixed my problem.

I do plan on going more FIGS though, Brian. If I didn't already buy some tie rods I would have gone with his also, but he didn't have them out when I replaced mine.

Thanks though man. I was lucky to get those actually. Very lucky I might say..

As far as future plans go.. I just really want an elegant looking GS, you know? Kind of like Wringo's. Simple, but sick and sexy at the same time, so he's my main inspiration at the moment. I do not plan on doing and engine swaps though or turbos.. Will more than likely just get intake to pump the horsepower a bit. My seats are disgusting though, so i'm going to more than likely get some nice seat covers to make them look good again. Decent system in the trunk and then maybe a few more interior miscellaneous items to complete the interior. Oh and of course I would like an 01+ Sports Grille. Love those.. So i've got some plans ahead of me. Nothing to major though.

I was going to ask the same question. It does look as if it sits higher than stock. What was removed when the lift kit was taken out? Just curious. Are your shocks/stuts/springs OEM?

Really? Because I think of it the other way. I was just telling a friend the other day I want to see what i'm sitting on because it looks like i'm lower than majority of GS's.

Maybe it's the way that the pictures were taken, but everything was taken off in terms of the lift kit.

Kinda looks like your rear wheel has positive camber.
