Most of the things I'll be offering are hard to find items that you probably won't find anywhere or stuff that just doesn't exist for this car. My goal is to make a bolt on kit with all electronics + pre-tuned for the GS300 that will not set off any check engine lights and will still pass plug in OBD2 testing.

I'll need a few extra guinea pigs in the future
Can't wait!
I'm down to be a guinea pig

The oil feed flange on top of the turbo is a Function7 AN-4 oil feed flange made of billet 7075 aluminum with a built in oil restrictor. The drain line is just temporary right now, I just needed something rigged up so I can start the engine without spilling oil everywhere. It has since been replaced with a reinforced silicone hose. Just in case you didn't know, those SS braided hoses aren't invincible. They are just a standard reinforced rubber hose inside with a stainless steel braid on the outside. The rubber inside can melt and crack around 300F or so. The silicone hose I use is rated for 550F continuous heat!

If you check my first post in this thread, the blue hose in that picture on the drain line is what I use. Purosil multi layer reinforced silicone hose. Trust me, I have had enough trial and error in doing this stuff and I have all my bases covered

Thanks for asking though, most people don't even notice stuff like that.

We don't have Visuals here in TX. I remember those when I lived in CA...lol...all my cars are boosted or engine swapped (k20 ek)... + for living in TX.

Its crazy how easy you make that look. I know its early, but any horsepower estimates for the kit you'd put together? Do you know if any pieces of the kit would fit the IS or SC?

I'm sure a inspector is more willing to let visual slide if the car has no check engine lights.

I'm working on some way to hide everything to make it look very OEM including use of the stock air box and snorkel. Piping will be powdercoated wrinkle black finish to look OEM and the intercooler coated in black as well. Thinking about including a catalytic converter in the exhaust piping as well. Then the car should pass both the sniffer and plug in obd2 test, just not the visual if the inspector knows what's going on
The smog check process is a big deal for most test only centers in CA (that's what happens when voters enact strict environmental laws ). You would probably need to include a cat on the down pipe for people in strict states. I never did replace my B-pipe with the Megan one, so I don't know if my 300 would pass with only 2 cats.

I could only wish I lived in a free state.

A metallic cat would be ideal because of less restriction.

I am pretty sure my GS300 only has 2 cats, those is on the headers. My downpipe has a resonator, but no cat (I have seen downpipes with cat though).

It passes smog just fine.
