Inspired M3, feel free to ask if you need help.

Also the stupid rain yesterday. Couldn't work on the car lol. Hopefully I'll have the car finished today.

It was an "NA" engine and you add "T" to it. It would just be "T" if the engine was turbo from factory. Make sense?

Good luck with your build, interested to see if you can pass your emissions with the turbo setup installed. No need to back door the system if you can do it legit...

Jeff, I am seriously thinking about leaving my car at your house giving you a good amount of cash, then coming to pick it up 48 hours later to see what you have done to it! Sound like a deal?

Sorry to sidetrack this thread, but TLcoats, could you email me?

It's over on the left. Back on topic.

Ok, just finished all the intercooler piping today. Freaking took me 8-9hrs. This included all the extra custom fabrication needed to fit everything properly. However, I'm going to redo all of the cold side piping in a few days because I don't like how it looks. A bit too messy for my taste

Anyways, on with the pictures:

7-28-2010 11:31AM

Turbo has clearance issues? No problem lol

A few boxes of intercooler piping fabrication supplies. I have 4 more boxes on the shelf...heh.

Throttle body had some clearance issues with the turbo. Just did some slight mods....

Very slight see...I made it shorter

Finished throttle body mod.

7-28-2010 1:32PM Took a break for a few hours.

7-28-2010 3:52PM Continued work...

Me welding in action. Standing in the air, freehand, and no I don't have a stool lol.

Welded new elbow on turbo. Finished the turbo side piping and bolted it on.

Front run of piping that goes under the engine.

This is the piping outside of the car.

Completed piping.

Close up of the cold side of the piping. Looks terrible
I ran out of a few 45'degree bends so I just had to made do with what I had on hand.

Front shot of the car. Intercooler is well hidden

7-28-2010 10:40PM Called it a day.

Work hours today: 2hr 1min + 6hr 48min = 8hr 49min.

Previous day work hours: 4hrs

Total work time 12hr 49min. I think I'm still within my 24 hour build time so far
