I got the engine today, its clean as hell, its an aristo engine with 30-60k miles shipped for 1899. It's clean as hell too, i gotta order a waterpump, thermostat housing, timing belt, and intake manifold gasket tomorrow from toyota then get some motor mounts from lexus. I could use 97 supra motor mounts since i get a discount at toyota. , but it will make the engine sit 1/2" lower. more pics soon. oh and the paint is the duplicolor fabric flat black paint from advance auto parts.

you could get that dash kit from ebay you can choose from wood, carbon fiber, aluminum or marble that's the type that's in the pic above.

Its regular fabric paint? Wont that make the dash seem a little sticky? since the dash is leather (I think). I thought only acrylic paints stick to leather.

the dash is vinyl. there is a vinyl dye you can buy at upholstery stores that is perfect for it. i did the dash in my s13 back n the day and just also did the dash in the GS blue. It is called SES. It goes on like spray paint, but if the surface is prepped right you cant really even scratch it when it is dry. there are 100s of colors too.

I chimed in on your build thread on INC but just wanted to say hey here too.. did you get my PM on INC? about the turbos?

Well I haven't really got alot done in the past couple of days since I've been busy working, but I got the waterpump and timing belt on and new serpentine belt the ecu harness is extended 26" now saudered and shrink wrapped. took about 2 hours to do it with the help of a friend cuting and putting 2 pieces of shrink wrap on the wire. Oh and put the bung for the brake booster on from the old engine. All I really need to do now is install the new 97 supra motor mounts and spark plugs and change a few hoses and she's ready to go in. What kind of plugs do I need if I'm running stock boost for now with 3" downpipe and 3" intercooler piping with a huge (31x12x3) intercooler and bcc? I don't have a boost controller, will I need one? I had to use the gs oil pan a oil pick-up because the shipping company messed the aristo one up. Do you think i'll have clearance issues with the lower motor mounts and lower oil pan? The oil pickups were a little different too. The aristo one was smaller and the opening was about the size of a quarter, but the gs one was oval shaped with just a screen. Should that matter? I have alot of pics, but i forgot my camera at work so i'll be posting them soon.
