Thanks Aurelio and Richie, and Big D Deron!!! I appreciate the props. Dropped off the block, crank and rods at the Machine shop today, CW Pence...great machining, these guys do quality work, know their stuff, and their prices are reasonable too. Understand that this is all these guys do every day, machine, clean and restore engines...They really know their stuff...When I had my buddy Chaz drop off the block, Jeffrey at CW Pence told me he had never seen the 1UZFE before, and now that he has seen the block, he cannot understand why any Supra guy would want to build a 1JZ or 2JZ over this engine. He was extremely impressed with the engineering Toyota put into this engine. He said if he had a Supra, he would definitely build this moter and drop it in...

He did not like the rods for my application, but my plans are to replace the rods with Pauter forged rods anyway...So, we are all good.

There was a slight delay in the headers, I should have them mid next week.

WIll update you as we go...

Ryan

Let's just say this...You could buy a new car for what I have spent on this whole project...

Consider just on the engine rebuild, $4k-$5k, which is a good price for forged internals, porting, polishing, etc. Just the 2 turbos are $2k, the intercooler $750, BOV is $250, etc, etc. Then there is the engine management, and the rest of the turbo project, as well as the suspension, transmission rebuild, rear end replacement, 2000 Body upgrade, new paint, new leather, wheels, get the picture?...

As Lextreme and I always concur...You gotta pay to play...

Guys, as soon as I can, I will post up pics...As you now know, Scott has seen the headers, so you know they really exist.Let's test fit them next week and finish the final welding, and I will post up the pics...

As far as the estimated HP, let's wait and see, but my plans and engine build mean high HP...

would this upgrade be able to work with an automatic or would it have to be changed to a manual?
