About a year and a half ago I got a warning light on saying my tire pressure sensors went out for all 4 of my tires.Maybe about a week or so later that all completely disappeared and everything worked fine.
About 5 weeks ago, my tire pressure sensor for my rear passenger wheel went out.
And then Halloween day my car has trouble starting and when it finally does start, I get a check engine light that had my dash saying “check vsc system”.
The very next day I take it down to O’Reilly’s to do the obd scan (car still having trouble starting) and through the obd scan it says: P0335 Crankshaft Postition Sensor “A” Circuit.
Then two days later as I’m getting off work I turn my car on and there’s no longer a check engine light and it didn’t have trouble starting either. But my rear passenger tire pressure sensor is still out because it still says “checking”
I would check the 12v battery first. Also check for loose connectors, corrosion, or damaged wiring as well. If that is OK then you need to have the crankshaft position sensor inspected and/or replaced. Replacement typically costs $150–$400 including labor.
The TMPS issue is a separate problem. Most likely faulty TPMS sensors or empty TPMS batteries.
