Default Solution + Quick tips to the white marks on dashboards.

Hi fellow members.
I know some of you have made some posts about
scratches on the dashboard that couldn’t be buffed out.
I wanted to make a quick post about how to take care of it and repair it.

1. Cleaning
Time to time my dashboard would
form a white marks throughout.
I use a chemical guys leather cleaner with a microfiber
towel and gently wipe it off.

2. Repair
Sometimes if it can’t be removed with the above method then NEVER give force and wipe it down thinking you can remove it or use a leather conditioner to hide it. I’ve had some marks in the passenger side of the dash and little did I know I used a lot of force and
made this entire row of white marks... made it a lot worse. If you can live with it just live with it but
myself being OCD I had to get it repaired. So on my
service I asked my dealer for an advice and they had their interior repair person repaint the area. It was just couple hours (I had a loaner so didn’t matter) came out really nice. Advisor told me they added a different paint so it is a lot more scratch resistant. (It feels a little different though to the touch)

The cost for me was $160 but my area was really
large (Yeah don’t rub it hard it won’t come out) but if its just a small area its around $80-100.

After Really nice.

Before The side panel also had a scratch due to me wiping it hard and my hand flew to that side and caused it. Repaired with the main damage.
