Desperate to eliminate urine smell
I took my cat to the vet a few weeks ago and even though he was in a soft carrier, I think he peed a bit and a few drops made it into my seat.
I've cleaned the leather. I've had the carpets and seat professionally done. I've sprayed enzyme eaters into the back of the seat and into the internals.
I've done everything I know to do. If it's driven regularly and the windows are down a little, you don't notice it at all. After a few days of rain, however, it's definitely there. So I'm not sure what to do now. I'm contemplating the removal of the passenger seat completely, and then possibly taking it apart in my living room.
So cleaning Gods, what are your suggestions?
Also, because it's a 2004, what's a good way to "freshen up" the general smell anyway? It doesn't generally smell bad, just kinda old.

You need to use enzymes. It’s the only thing that will get the urine smell out. You’ll have to spray it, let it set over night with your windows down bc it’s strong, then clean it the next day with a rag. You’ll need to purchase this from a detail supply store or car store. Hope this helps!!

Okay, I'm going to pull the seat out and give it a solid dismantling and inspection. I picked up the Bio-Zyme stuff, so I'm going to start there.
If I can't get the smell out, I'll look into a replacement seat (parts).

Might seriously be worth trying the ozone. Detailing service and landlords use it for smoke/cat urine. And it would save you a lot of trouble of pulling the seat.
Not extremely expensive, and maybe a local detailer might even have one to try
