Default Kenotek detail spray??

My ExPel guy came to the house yesterday to cover my new GS and showed me this product. I was pretty impressed with it and like the anti static properties to it since things tend to cling to my black cars. Anyone here tried it and is there any other detail spray you like better? I currently use Adam's with good results. I ordered a bottle to try it out.

I know forum sponsor Detailers Domain loves the stuff... perhaps they can answer some more questions for you if no one else chimes in.

I've tried a few kenotek products and they were all great, but the Kenotek Showroom Shine was always out of stock when I ordered from DD. It seems like it was always sold out right when they got it in stock.

I've used ONR for all quick detailing tasks, interior wipedowns, etc.

Such a universal product, so cheap, why bother with these other specialty products?

... because that is what makes detailing fun.

Lol are we really going to discuss “wasting money on crap you don’t need” on a forum full of people that enjoy modding cars?

I agree and disagree. At least with modding cars you get something out of every mod...

All those nutjobs on detailing forums that have mini fridges dedicated to their dozens of different carnauba waxes are hilarious.... At least you use the mods on your car, wtf do you use ten cases of Swissvax for? Especially the hobbyists that do not make money detailing.

I have not been on detailing forums in years since getting into the field full time, so maybe paste waxes are a thing of the past now, but I have no doubts they are collecting other useless products just for the sake of trying them.

Hell, I used to be that guy in my first two years when getting into it as a hobby until I realized what you actually need and don't need.

Too many of the same products out there these days. Too much private labeling going on and diluting the market with the same old product but with difference scent/color/ dilution ratio.

It would be alot more fun like you say to try new stuff if in fact it made your "arsenal" better in some way, if it wasn't so expensive, and didn't end up just taking space on the shelf.

Sure, there are definitely limits, but for me if I want to try something, I do... and if I don't end up liking it, I sell it. Same thing I do with car parts. All part of the fun of being a "car guy" to me I guess.

I like trying different product since it's strictly a hobby for me. It's probably the cheapest hobby I've ever had. I never modify my cars so that's a savings in itself. Other than that have you ever been in the Hi-Fi hobby?! You can spend serious $$ on that. Buying different car care product is chump change.

I use ONR for everything too, but it's still fun to try new products in hopes that I find something that can save me time.

I'm very guilty of this, but it's still fun. hahaha

Car detailing is still one of the cheapest hobbies I have, and I enjoy trying new products because it gives me real feedback vs reading reviews online. If I don't like it, then I'll sell it or give it away.

I got my Kenotek the other day. Tried it out tonight and I must say I love it. I'll use up the rest of my Adam's sprays and Kenotek will be my go to spray. Easiest to wipe off of all the other sprays I've tried.
