I've done several searches on the forum for people's evaluations of wood dash kits, but can't find any clear concensus (yeah, this is the BEST, etc.). If anyone looking at this thread has installed a flat wood dash kit, I'd like to know the manufacturer and your "quality" evaluation of the kit.

I'm leaning toward B & I because my dealer uses it. Also, I saw that Alka Plus was well-received, and exoticwooddash.com wasn't too popular. Does anyone send out free sample shades to compare the match in their car? Any information is good information. Just a FYI, I own a 1999 RX 300.

Dan, try wwwAlkaPlus.com they are in Brooklyn New York and i got one from them awhile back for my LS-400 and it was a perfect match. the quality is awesome too and all lazer cut. as a matter of fact i like it so much i just bought one for my 95 camry and again it was a perfect match. here's their No.718-232-0469. also i want to mention that it's not junk it has the good 3M adhesive backing and UV pertection. here's a toll free no. 866-868-6872 if this no. doesn't work just try the other one. good luck NEO GEO

Neo, thanks for your reply. This is making my decision a lot easier. I called B & I, and they told me to contact exoticwooddash.com (I didn't know they were one-and-the-same). They want $299.00 and AlkaPlus wants $150.00. If people on this board are vouching for Akla's quality (like you did), and they're half as much, I think I know where I'm going...

I'm just trying to help a little cause i was in the same boat. I did win the kits on e-bay and was more than happy with them. i was concerned also of the quality but once i received the first one for my LS-400 i knew i was going to get the one for my wife's camry. just do some research like i did, i checked with the people that won some of the dash kits from ALKAPLUS. and this is what sold me. hope i helped.
