Question about using paint remover on wheels
I want to strip the black paint of the faces of my SSR SP1. I would be using JASCO's paint and epoxy remover.
Does anyone know if there will be any complications of my using this remover on these wheels as they are multi-piece? I guess it would probably be recommended to take the wheels apart first due to the silicone that seals the pieces, but I am a bit hesitant about messing around with that. Depending on what you guys say I may have to go find a shop that can hopefully take the wheels apart for cheap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Aircraft stripper work just fine. Yes, you would want to remove the center ,it's actually not difficult at all, just time consuming and if you don't have air tools, you'll have popeye forearms when done, lol. To make it easier, let all the air out and as soon as the center is removed bolt the inner and outer barrels together, because tire will spread the silicone seal if you do not bolt them together while working on the centers.Once done stripping and painting torque the bolts to 30lbs and get the wheels ballanced.
