Hey guys,

I received a PC7424XP as a gift last year since my original 7424 crapped out. I haven't used it until today, and noticed that it's not working properly. It boggs out so easy even on 6 and just jumps all over the place. Is there something I should look at before saying it's scrap. Will PC do anything for me considering I don't have a receipt or anything?

 

Sounds like you need to contact them....

 

Tell them it was a gift and they most likely will not require a receipt. However , they would most likely only replace it and not give you a refund or a different product without having the receipt.

 

try the wrench and tighten the neck

 

My old PC is leaking oil near the neck and where the handle bolts in is that normal?

The PC's do come with a warranty which varies depending if you have the 7424 or 7424 XP. They usually do a good job helping out customers if you take it to a service center - http://www.deltaportercable.com/Serv...ceCenters.aspx. Hope that helps.
