Any way to fix rim scratched on curb?
I took a turn a little too sharply in the parking lot and scraped the outside of my rim right where the metal meets the tire. These are the Lexus 19" rims that come with the 2010 RX350.
Any way to fix this? I was thinking of using a Dremel tool to smooth it out, but I don't know if this will result in even more discoloration (the wheel is a gray color) or leave it unprotected from rust, etc.

Unless you want to paint it, dont do anything to it. You have 3 options:
-wheel repair shop
-refinish yourself (not recommended unless you know what you are doing, and do all 4)
-Purchase a new wheel (I feel your pain, each one of the factory alloy's on my car are $391.
