Default Does Meguiars Swirl-X work??

hey guys I have a dark blue 3GS , and I have noticed some mild swirls on the trunk and the hood. I bought some of this swirl X and I was thinking of giving the affected areas a treatment with this stuff and the tech wax 2.0. Do you guys have any experience with this stuff. I am a bit of a detail freak, but usually left swirls to the pros and their machinery. I only work by hand. I do a good job though

The Swirlx 2.0 didn't really work for me and I too apply by hand. It only works with very light scratches, and even then takes a lot of elbow grease.

It works well to finish out the Ultimate Detailing compound or agressive claybar marring..
Be careful though when you use the product by hand as you'll be taking a few microns off at a time rather than more efficiently with a machine.

I say stay away from abrasive stuff. Just stick with Meguiar's NXT Tech 2.0 wax and live on with the swirls.

Abrasive stuff is not bad by any means, its all in the user, method, and prep..You won't be able to take out any swirls without an abrasive product, you can fill but never remove.
