How do you take out very minor scratches?
I accidently dropped a metal tire-pressure meter down the side of my car. There are minor scratches along the B-pillar. It is hard to see the scratches because I dropped orange juice last week and haven't cleaned it up yet. How do you "buff" it out, as people have recommended me to do? Thank you for all your help.

well, im no detailing guru, so im not to sure about the buffing out part. but i have this stuff by turtle wax. and its called scratch remover. it works sometimes depending on the type of scratch it is. and when it does work, it works well. just wait to see what guitarman has to say b/c when it comes to this stuff, he is simply INCREIBLE. to say that he is very knowledgable about this stuff is an undertstament.

Varcity has the right idea. You should try a medium -cut abrasive on them first, and there are plenty on the market. The Turtle Wax Varcity mentioned might be all you need.
On dark colors, sometimes those scratch removers can leave a haze or minor swirling after they're done doing what they do (remove fine scratches) so if you do have any dulling or haze or swirls, just follow it with a finer 'swirl remover' polish with a foam pad, or terry towel, by hand. Buff in straight lines, not circles.
Some other products similar to the Turtle Wax scratch remover are; GS27 Scratch Remover, Meguiar's ScratchX and KIT Scratch Out. 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound is also very good for fine scratches. Rub/buff in the direction of the scratches with any of those products. Good luck!
