Perfume/Cologne on Cabin Air Filter OK?
Is it ok to spray perfume or cologne or something that smell good on the carbon cabin air filter the one behind the glove box in the RX 330 and on most Lexus cars. This way the car will smell better. Or will it damage anything?

I wouldn't recommend spraying any parfume or such in there. If your air conditioning smells and you have already changed the filters, then there are odour killers that are meant to be sprayed there, that neutralize the smell.

I use einszett Klima-Cleaner
Smells of lemon for a couple months then reverts back to a neutral smell that lasts for months (did mine last year lol)

VW sells a kit to clean the cabin air filter , it actually kills the bacteria and you get a fresh smelling car.
sparying perfume on it could cause mold to build up and have the smell of , well you know when you wash your clothes and dont dry them!!

Interesting idea's about the Febreeze, I think I am going to give this a try. Did you guys use th regular home or the auto version? I don't know if there is a difference or just a marketing gimmick.
