Quote: damn local hobby shops dont carry the polycarbonate paint. might just go to pepboys or something and pick up a can of smoke spray paint.
ALL hobby shops carry polycarb paint, what do you think they paint RC bodies with 99% of the time

i am ready to do this..but got one question on taking off the emblems...the big L logo/emblem at the back of the 2IS is not on a flat surface like the IS350 or Lexus emblems...so how do i take it out??

here is a pic i found on google...
can't really see it clearly but the L emblem is placed on a shallow hole..

This coming weekend, I'm gonna paint mine. Except, I've dremel-sanded the gold off of them and cleaned them up well. Painting them a smoky/gunmetal color and gonna go nuts with the clear coat. Suggestions on a good adhesive for replacing them???

i got mine from a local hobbyshop usa.

big tip, do NOT use this on any METAL facing the front of the car.

it doesnt hold up well to rock rips AT ALL, even with several heavy coats of clear.

Anyone do this on their front grille? I'd like to do it to my LS400. I'm also considering doing my headlight housings but I think it might hinder the lighting of my headlights. Any thoughts?
