either go to the shop or do it like me. Use gas and soft towel and scrub it about an hr. It will go away but you will have the gas smell in your car for few days

i'm in lexington. at tint king i paid 240 for my tints. it would have been less but i opted for the higher quality carbon tint. i forget how much they quoted me for the cheaper tint though. they gave me a loaner car for the duration of the job (i think it was one of their personal cars actually)

noooooooooooooooooooo my brothaaaaaaaaaa I'm here in Ft lauderdale and i know we have great weather but donot i repeat do not use a razor i watch a brotha remove the tint on my sc3 and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! He took some liquid that was reddish in color and he told me it was basically degreaser and another pieace if , what look like the clear pieace that is removed from the back of a piece of tint paper after it is cut and trimmed. he sprayed the red decreaser on the inside of the window (in the car) and sprayed the clear piece of plastic tint paper ( he trimmed it to match the window ) and set it outside in the sun for maybe 35 40 minutes. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN he told me not to ever use a heat gun becuse you really don't know how hot the window is and it might shatter. with the paper and decreaser you touch the window and you can feel the heat . And mannnnnnnnn he just peeled the old tint right off with nooooooooooooo problem. no damage to the defroster or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use Goo Gone (Googone). It worked well after my attempts to use 'cleaners' after removing the tint from my SC400 driver and passenger windows. I also like lfrers suggestion (2/8/07) to use oven cleaner (with lots of cautions). Windex and ammonia are ineffective. Razor blades still leave behind adhesive that you'll want to clean up with Goo Gone (or oven cleaner).

Some dot3 brake fluid and a towel does a GREAT job! But, you have to be really careful. The brake fluid will ruin just about any part of the interior it touches.

I took mine to a tint place and they steamed my window... removed all my tint w/out losing my rear defroster.
