Default Putting decals on unpainted stock calipers

So I keep seeing all these threads about people painting their calipers and putting decals on them. Well i have a SGM that i don't want to paint, but would like to put Lexus logos on them. Do I just take the front tires off, clean the calipers and apply decals? Do I need to protect the decals somehow?

Where can I get the decals?

You would want to put a clear coat over the caliper.
Ebay has some...
