Default Emblem removal.

I was told to remove my emblem with WD40 but was wondering if that would be harmful to the paint/clear coat at all? I normally heat them up with a hair dryer and then work it off with dental floss. Any ideas? thanks!

I've used WD40 to take off the gooey adhesive, it works fine and doesn't do any harm.

You just need to wash the area with your normal car soap +water when you are done, otherwise it looks really ugly.

^ +1 Fishing line and heat gun or blow dryer to remove. But I use P21S Total Auto Wash to remove the sticky stuff.
