Default Paint Chips?

Should I touch up small paint chips (how risky is it to leave it) before having my car washed/waxed?

If so, how's the quality? will I see a slight surface roughness on the touch up spot? (in another words, how can I prevent this to happen during touch up?)

the chips look white in color...

try a product called lanka. It will remove the blob from the touchup paint.

I've used lanka. It works as advertised. If your not careful it will remove all the touchup paint you've just added.

AD,

Try doing a search on the detailing forum for the keyword 'Langka' and 'Autosharp' and you'll find lots of the details you're looking for

I've used it mainly on rock chips. Biggest was the size of the tip of the touchup brush.

thanks! not to be doubtful but today i talked to a guy at a LX dealer:

he said that my small chips could be from rock chips and/or bird ****. they are quite small in size and the guy said that there's no way i can get it flushed with the rest of the surface (after touch up) with any kind of products because of its small size. He does not know about Langka though...

I got the touch up paint from my dealer and am waiting to get a 'pro' to do it (don't want to mess the paint). I will buy the Langka too before having someone work on it..

any suggestion for Atlanta area?
