I've also been wondering about Megan coilovers vs Tein CS coilovers..
I've looked at threads and everyone loves the Megans, but I've also read about how nice the ride is with Tein CS.. but never seen anyone actually compare...
Any input from anyone ?
Now i just read something about pillowmounts replacing the stock rubber on the Megans? I don't want to start a new thread, so can anyone enlighten me with what that all means?
there's nothing to replace except for the entire oem shock/spring assembly from the suspension system - including the urethane upper mounts.
the megan racing LP series coilovers come with aluminum upper mounts on the top of the shocks - they're the red circular plates w/ the two bolts sticking out of them:

the aluminum (at least i'm guessing they're aluminum) upper mounts provide more direct feedback from the road at the expense of additional noise/vibration - stuff that would've been absorbed by the oem urethane upper mounts.
please note that this information can be found using the search function in the 2is suspension subsection and the key words "upper mount".
