Default Tein vs. Megan

So my choices are the Megan ez coilovers or the tein superstreet coilovers both at 16 dampening, but which one goes lower?

megan goes lower. does it mean its better construction though? ehh.

Reason why megans go low is because you can adjust the overal length of the shock body via the lower mount.

So megans go lower but teins rise better? Hmmm could sacrifice a little ride quality for being slammed.

Would love to have bc racing coilovers but I'm on a tight budget.

Don't superstreet cost more than BC-Rs?

They're not all the same. Megan and BC are under the same manufacture while Ksport and D2 belong elsewhere. Buddyclub can come from different locations depending on the model.

They may all look similar, but internally they can be different.

On a tight budget, the Megan wins. Teins are not cheap, especially since they've jacked up the price considerable. Megans will allow you to drop lower. Most people go with Megans for those two main reasons: going low and affordability.

Really? Hmmm as a supplier , they are come from the same factory in Taiwan. Labeled differently and painted different colors. If u think they are different do a tad bit of research. I'm sure your findings will blow your mind.

Here's my longer response..

If you just want some coilovers to dump low and ride nice for a nice price, Megan's can't be beat.

If you're looking to spend decent money on coilovers, then I would invest in some Stance coils. Their quality is impeccable and can be put through just about any sort of abuse you want. They're built to withstand abuse. Plus they dump to the ground.

9k miles honestly is nothing, but i'd see if you could go a wee bit lower on the LP's. Maybe $575 if possible. You could find LP's brand new for around 8-900 if i'm correct?

Def go with the LP's over the EZ's though if you're going to buy Megan's. In the end you're going to want a stiffer setup, so if you have the chance (which you do) start out as stiff as possible.

I'm on the EZ's and i'm already looking into getting a stiffer setup or wait until I can afford Air.
