Hmmm in any case the 2011's aren't white enough for me and I"m guessing I'm not the only one who thinks that because Sewell made a big point in mentioning that the 2012's are "much whiter" in the link I provided but to each his own I suppose thanks.

Here are mine set to 100% output during peak sunlight, along with the "eyebrows" previously mentioned. They're subtle and shouldn't really influence your decision.

2012 lights are not brighter then 2011's. They both receive the same voltage input. Some (not me) classify the 2012's as more appealing because they have a slight blue "HUE" to them. In fact my girl prefers 2012 lights due to the blue hue and giving the illusion that they're brighter (in her mind). I prefer pure white with no blue hue. The blue hue that I mention is ONLY present when parked next to a owner of 2011 headlights and both the headlights are on side by side.

The eyebrows were added by Lexus to refract sunlight to avoid peeling and melting issues on the paint of the headlight hosuing that the 2011 headlights were known for... Despite Lexus' efforts there are documents (even on this forum) of 2012 lights ALSO melting/bubbling/peeling.

Thanks bro good info I think I will still get the 2012's because I'm running 8000k low beams and 8000k fogs so hopefully a closer match however I may consider 6000k but we will see.
