They replace the stock sides for most kits. I believe the TOMs go over the stock sides those are the only ones i know of that do. Someone can correct me if im wrong?

A few people, including myself while I ran JP Vizage rep sideskirts on my car, had it installed over the OEM skirts. I saw someone install it/replaced their OEM skirts with the JP rep and it looked really flimsy. The OEM skirts helped me keep it in place and gave it a sturdier hold/look haha.

It goes over your Oem side skirts. Now that I think about it I think I have $30 in heavy duty 3M tape i can throw in as well.
