FS: RARE HKS Hipermax LS Coilovers
I'm keeping them
Okay, I got these a few months ago off here, sent them out to be rebuilt, and now they are back and I'm in the middle buying my first house. I'm going to install them tomorrow so I can set the stance I want and see what fitment wheels I should get. I plan on keeping them on the car unless someone else on here wants them. So, if you want them, I could probably use the extra cash right now more than the coilovers. If you know anything about the HKS coilovers they get great reviews. Also, All HKS coilovers for the GS have been discontinued. Your only chance to get them is a used set, and these are the closest to new. These are the Hipermax LS coilovers so they DO NOT have dampening adjustment. They only have height adjustment. Most threads I read where people had the LS+, they just left the dampning close to the middle anyway. Do a search on here & read up on all the HKS>TEIN posts. These have all new bushings, seals, dust boots, etc. They do have some scrapes and knicks here and there but nothing different from almost any other used coilover set out there. All the important stuff is new. Check the pics.
Thanks,
Ki

Yeah, I heard the were discontinued a while ago. I checked their website and no coilovers are listed anymore. It sucks because everyone, including myself, loves them.

There are people out there that have them. It's just that those who do don't sell them. These ride very close to stock (comfort wise) but are stiffer in the corners. Not too stiff, but just right IMO. Most people complain about ride comfort, or noise, or whatever with most coilovers. I've never read any complaints about HKS coilovers, nor do I have any myself.
