Default Best Coilover setup for a gs300?

I'm very close from selling my gsr and getting a gs300. I wanted to see which is the best coilover set up for a gs300. I'm looking to spend around $1000-$1500. I want something as close to stock as possible. I heard tein was good, but which model?

Thanks

Closest Tein to stock is CS.

The CS does not go as low as some of the other coilovers. You should be able to get pretty low though with 19s. Find pics of LXOGOOD's car. I think he has 19s and it looks tight. I don't know how much he has left or if maxed out on lowering. Also, it depends if you are running the standard tire setup for the wheels or the fat setup. The fat setup will have a bigger OD (like running 20s with standard setup) so you will definitely be against the fender. Then you have to worry about rubbing.

If you need more info, please post more specifics on your wheel setup: tire/offset/width/staggered/...

I'm looking for 19x8.5 in the front and 19.9.5 or 19.10 for the back

something like airtrackk's. I want the same drop, and the same stance on the wheels.

Well, I can't remember airtrackk's wheel specs but he did have 19s with Tein CS. So if that's the look you want, then you're there. I don't think he had the "fat" setup either so you can get that look without going to he bigger tires (unless you want to).

Just a comment though. If you look closely at the pics, there is a little gap. Since the whole body pics are taken from above, it looks like there is no gap. There is not much but it is there. I am only saying this since you mentioned no gap earlier.

Another comment: Go for 8.5/10 Make sure you get the right offsets though and clearance if you plan for big brakes.

I though the Bilstein rode a somewhat harsher. Are you talking about the PSS? I've seen posts on the PSS pricing at around $900, not in the same price range as the Teins either. The PSS are pretty good from what I've read but just not the "close-to-stock" ride that audio28 was asking for.

If you are talking about another set, then disregard my comment.

Neo, you're right .........it is way more harsher ride than Tein HA or Flex, even JIC set up. I personally picked Bilstein b/c of its ride manner. Mine is not PSS, but I forgot what it is....brought it from Japan and it was expensive.. probably got jacked with those prices... but all good.
