Nope it won't work. I used to have Nakamichi on my 93 GS. Now I have 95 with Pioneer. I tried to put my old Nakamichi headunit on my 95 and it have no bass so I took it off right away. I'm guessing that if you put Pioneer amp into your Nakamichi system, you won't able to hear any bass at all. From what I've heard the Nakamichi and Pioneer system are different on the ohm for the subwoofer. You can learn more by searching in this forum. All I know that our GS are the only vehicle that can do Pioneer swap to Nakamichi if you have all the components. I have Nakamichi Headunit and Amp at the moment. All I need is the Nakamichi Subwoofer and I'm set to do the swap. GL with your finding.
