With all the coverage we’ve been doling out lately on the LC 500, Lexus’s shiny new halo car, we realize we haven’t been paying proper respect to its not-so-distant relative, the LFA.

Even though she’s already one of the purtiest cars ever, you have to admit the LFA looks even purtier on these PUR wheels.

“Driving a Lexus LFA at high speeds. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.” If you heard someone say that, you’d more than likely think they were joking.

If you look on Youtube long enough, you’ll probably find more than a dozen videos of Lexus LFAs battling Lamborghini Murcielagos – in straight lines.

Where else could such a thing as an LFA Shooting Brake come from, other than from someone’s drunken dreams?

As Lexus fans, we’re not really surprised when an auto journalist gushes about the LFA, but it’s still nice to hear.

The LFA may just be the best sounding supercar of them all. But that hasn’t stopped someone from trying to make it sound even better. With a V8!
