Lexus LFA - Revving

With all the coverage we’ve been doling out lately on the LC 500, Lexus’s shiny new halo car, we realize we haven’t been paying proper respect to its not-so-distant relative, the LFA.

Sure, Lexus stopped producing the LFA in 2012, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped loving the legit supercar for what it is now: a masterpiece.

One of the most thrilling aspects of the LFA’s magnificence has to be its dulcet exhaust sounds. If you need any further proof of that fact, simply check out the video below. Though it’s not exactly new, having been posted by TheStraightPipes this summer, it is too glorious not share. Just throw on some good headphones, hit play, and close your eyes.

You may think you’re listening to the latest NASA launch, but no, open your eyes and you’ll discover a beautiful black LFA making all sorts of wonderful noise while angrily making its way around Flamborough Speedway. And you’ll also get to see another of the LFA’s progeny, the RC-F. That’s a heckuva duet!

Now, back to the LC 500 beat…
