Lexus on Lexus Wreck Is Bizarre in More Ways Than One
Lexus SUVs wind up in a precarious position following the most ironic accident we’ve seen lately.
Accidents happen every day, but rarely do we see a Lexus wreck quite like this one. Nor have we ever seen two vehicles in such a, um, compromising position. In fact, at least one person responding in the comments section of a recent news post says, “There should be a parental warning for that picture!”
It all went down at the Cabin John Shopping Center and Mall in Potomac, Maryland. The bizarre scenario involved not just one but two Lexus RXs, which is pretty darn ironic in its own right. Not only is that quite the coincidence, but it also appears that neither suffered catastrophic damage. Despite the, um, precarious position both wound up in. Let’s just say it appears that the two SUVs are quite fond of each other.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find the white RX positioned atop the red RX, which complicated the rescue of the white RX’s driver just a bit. According to the Bethesda Beat, the gentleman in the white RX was traveling at low speed when he crossed the median and drove up the front side of the red RX.

Thankfully, there was no one in the parked ‘ute. But Montgomery County Fire & Rescue had to stabilize both vehicles with some straps to safely remove the driver from the red RX. Also, thankfully, he only suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. If we had to guess, it looks like another classic case of gas pedal/brake pedal mistaken identity.
Perhaps more interesting than the irony of the accident itself is the damage (or lack thereof) incurred by both vehicles. Obviously, the victimized red RX incurred damage to the hood, front fender, windshield, and side mirror. But considering the weight sitting on it, things don’t look too terrible. The white Lexus actually looks like it’s still in pretty good shape. If only we could say the same about their dignity.
Then again, when we saw these crazy shots of the Lexus on Lexus incident, it immediately brought to mind the album cover of Aerosmith’s 1989 classic, Pump. Of course, considering the photo and title used on Aerosmith’s album, it seems that the Bad Boys of Boston were, of course, hinting at a randy innuendo between the vehicles. So, perhaps this is a case of two Lexuses in lust that maybe got a bit overzealous in the parking lot?
