Lexus Wins CPO award

Lexus nabs top honors in inaugural U.S. News & World Report award.

U.S. News & World Report, recently released its first award for Best Certified Pre-Owned Program (CPO), and faster than you can say ‘Meryl Streep’, award favorite Lexus is again scooping up more accolades. U.S. News & World Report will be honoring this distinction at an upcoming Used Car Awards luncheon.

For the last 10 years, U.S. News’ Best Cars rankings have been reporting and publishing rankings of, well, U.S. cars (and trucks and SUVs). In that time, the Best Cars awards, which also include Best New Cars, Best Vehicle Brands, Best Cars for the Money, and Best Cars for Families, have gained a strong following among consumers and the auto industry alike.

After compiling information from the U.S. News Best Used Cars rankings and comparing various CPO programs, the Best Certified Pre-Owned Program chose Lexus as the best. The decision was based on factors such as high level of CPO benefits, dependability of pre-owned vehicles, and outstanding warranty coverage.

“The certified pre-owned program from Lexus gives consumers confidence across the board,” said Jamie Page Deaton, managing editor of U.S. News Best Cars. “The warranty coverage and program perks are excellent, and Lexus’ record of dependability means that consumers may never need to use it.”
