Guy Chops Roof Off LS 400, Invents LS-C

Yep. That’s a guy with a sawzall going to work on the roof of a first generation LS.The carnage took place at StanceWars 2012 in Belgium. Ironically, just as they top is removed, it began to rain. Perfect timing.

Here’s a fun bit of trivia. Lexus actually did a convertible version of LS. It was a special one-off built for the Prince of Monaco’s wedding day. Though, instead of being completely roofless (a Maybach) it actually has a transparent bubble for a roof. It was the only LS of it’s kind, until now. Oddly, the coachbuilder who created the original topless LS was the Belgian security firm Carat Duchatelet.

Coincidence? We think not.
