Default Wilwood 6-piston Brake Kit **UPDATE 02/03**

Hey Folks, I have been receiving quite a bit of emails about the brake kit that I outlined a while back. Unfortunately, it has been delayed. The shop that was working on it had to take on a large job so we moved it to another shop which also had to take on a large job...so right now, the project is hold. However, it's not dead. We have all the components we need to start shipping the kit, we just haven't finished the bracket as of yet.

Since most of the interested people owned GS's, we will be doing the initial kit on the GS (as opposed to the SC). We are also going to test fit on a LS and the SC just to make sure it works all around (it should by our calculations)

So those of you who are still interested, I will post here again once we have some more information and a better timeline.

Other mods - Please leave this thread here in the main section for now, I will move it to the suspension forum later...thanks.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully you'll be able to get them together sooner vs. later.

Heya Mike. From what I understand, they should fit stock LS (pre '95) as far as width goes. I am planning on a brake kit in near future but I am supper pissed since my rims are not "high disk". Would your application fit on my car? If so, I am in and ready to buy now.

Hi Mike,

I have a question about replacement parts. How accessible are the parts once you finalize them? I've read a few threads lately about warped rotors due to bad break-in even though the driver was careful about it. If we ever have to replace the components down the road, is it going to be a problem?

The components will be readily available through the same channel by which the kit will be offered.

Hehehehe...I don't know what it is actually...I just found it on some random "icon" website in Germany...must be some sheizen crap...

Never thought of it as me eating newbies...

Neo: Like Cerberus said, all parts (rotors, pads, etc.) will be available through the same channel that the kits are coming from. Steve Ganz will also have access to the parts.

Hey Manaray, you looking for more negative G's than your eye-popping Stillens?
