Help!! Anyone experience with this??
heard a strange motorised scraping noise. It sounded like it was coming from under the steering wheel. On closer inspection it appears to be coming from the brake servo unit. Its still there with the engine switched off and the ignition lights on. It stops if I’m pumping the brake pedal and then starts again. It stopped after a while and has been intermittent since. Now when it happens, instead of it stopping, all 4 brake warning lights come on and an audible dash alarm comes on (A continues long beep). It goes out after about ten minutes.
Friend says it could be a ABS pump, help, anybody experience with this problem?

Gotta take the car to the shop to get the code. The brake system on our car is complex. If your ABS actuator fails, you'll get the same warning as if your ABS control unit fails. Its the code that will tell you what's wrong. Bring your car in and the mechanic will tell you the problem. It might be the ABS actuator, it might not..

Code 11 does not correspond to anything. Lexus goes by Pxxxx (like P0550 for example). Bring your car to dung0981's friends shop. He has a Toyota/Lexus scanner that not even most independent lexus shops have. Once he's able to get the code, he can tell you what's wrong with it. He wont charge you for scanning codes. Trust me on this.
If anything, you dont have to take his word for it. Just get the code and bring it back here and I will look it up for you.
