Default Any advise on TEIN CS install?

Hi Guys,
After lurking in the shadows of this fine forum, I've come out of the closet

I've been reading all the suspension reviews and have decided to pick up the TEIN CS W/ EDFC. I'll be picking up the system at TM engineering in a few hours.

I was hoping on getting some feedback from any of you guys who have done the install yourselves. Any problems? setbacks? Don't do's? must do's?

Thanks Guys.

Does anyone who recently installed their CS have any install instructions.?

I am fairly mechanically inclined, and have the GS Repair Manuals, so I thought I might try this my self.

Also a list of tools to have would help as well.

yes their website has instructions that you can print out. There are a lot of pages so you may not want to print in color or high quality

Mine broke when I did my L-Tuned install. They are in the front... if i remember correctly we determined that we could have done the job without removing them. Use a hanger to hold the weight of the brakes and caliper and leave the sensors in making sure they are not being stressed.

If you have to remove the sensors, don't let them hang and wrap them with a ziplock and a rubber band to make sure no debris gets anywhere near the sensor.

New ones costed I believe 360.00 from Carson which was cheap in comparison to the local Lexus dealer.

the abs sensor is bolted onto the car's frame with a 10mm nut. when you take take off the brake line support from the shock, you will need to take off the other 10mm nut that supports the abs line so this line is not streched. it's important to support the whole brake and not let it dangle on the brake line. i used a wire hanger or rope to support the brakes. i believe the abs sensor gets messed up when the brake line pulls the abs senson when it's not supported.

bottom line, don't put stress on the brake lines and you'll be fine.
