Intermittent: I pull up to a stop light and wait for the light to change. About once a week, either the front or rear suspension drops/sags - no warning, no noise. Otherwise drives and operates just fine. Dealer says this is normal vehicle operation - true?

Sounds like major trouble as the LX should not have an air suspension.
Dealer is hallucinating. "About once a week" indicates it's time to see what's happening.
How long since the HYDRAULIC fluid has been changed?
Take it to another dealer or a good independent shop.
It is normal. It is most noticeable when coming off a highway at speed then stopping at a stoplight.
It is just adjusting the level. Some vehicles are more noticeable than others. Might be time to flush the system.
OK, that's embarrassing, not knowing I have a hydraulic suspension vice an air suspension. Symptoms remain vaild, however. The active height control system fluid was replaced on 5/21/2021 at 57,808 miles.They also replaced the right rear height control sensor, due to it having registered code C1713, to the tune of $622.86. Since then, it it has height adjusted itself while sitting at red lights on 5/22, 5/26 and 6/2. They (Lexus of New Orleans) have the vehicle back in the service department for further evaluation (going on 10 days now). They have (not yet) said this is normal vehicle operation.
What speed are you traveling prior to coming up on the lights?
It's perfectly normal when driving at higher speeds for it to level once stopped. Sometimes when getting off the interstate i feel it raise up. I actually was driving next to one a short while ago on the interstate and notices how low it truly rides when to 70+ it's very close to low position. The suspension will adjust itself fairly frequently. I've notice that when you are looking for it you'll notice it a lot more.
Dealers often DON'T bleed the system properly or fully. I would drop the spare tire and hold a light up to the AHC reservoir. Make sure it's clean and not brown. Also make sure it's reading between the two lines.
Since they replaced a sensor, I wonder if it wasn't properly calibrated. I made an adjustment to one of my fronts and now it hunts for the correct height quite often. I need to get Techstream to do a zero calibration to reset it.
Mine does the same - more often when u a re stopping faster than normal when the nose dive down, then at stop it'll raise the front back up. Or when u accel harsh the rear end will go lower but u stopped soon and the vehicle would level out too. Normal operation;

yep. Freaked us out at first, but it’s an automatic leveling feature.
System contains about 2 1/2 quarts of fluid most dealers normally drain the Reservoir which is accessed through a panel behind the rear wheel where you put gas in so they suck out a quart, even though they’re supposed to drain the entire system and bleed it.
question for the experts, my 2020 LX occasionally “drops” quickly and dramatically in the rear end and then equally quick recovers, normally at highway speeds. This happens throughout a couple hour drive maybe 2-3 times. Seems different than the auto autoleveling with intention “feature”.
just bought this certified, only has 48k miles. Need fluid? Need a sensor replaced? Thoughts? I’ll obviously have the dealer address but I don’t have huge confidence the techs will be familiar (not a large amount of land cruisers or LX’s in GM / Ford heavy Michigan)

Is it happening at the same speed, around 62 mph? If so that is normal. If it is at different speeds then you have a bigger problem.
