The IS receives some long due praise and beats out the
new G35 stick.

They manged to get the IS350 to do 0-60 in 4.9 sec.
Nice!!

Road and Track tested 0-60 in 6 sec and 1/4 mile in 14.5 in their October 2005 review. Yet the recent test shows significant faster time.

did the narrator say the IS is quicker than the Audi S4, I thought the S4 is quicker than 13.5

He said the is350 got 0-60 in 4.9sec, 1/4 mile in 13.5 sec. And "that's faster than the V8 powered Audi S4 folks..."

It's hard to believe these cars are running that fast.

I mean, I drive it every day and it doesn't feel that fast.

I think our cars are deceptively fast. When I drove the 335 back to back with the IS350, both automatics, I really couldn't discern a difference in power between them.

It's the isolation I tell ya. My gs400 feels slower than dirt, even though it has potential. Lexus cars are too much of a tombstone.
