Default Toyota/Lexus Mike Jordan of cars

This past half I have done a lot of research on Lexus reading all articles i could find reading info on the net reading everything in the club and I've notice now that the Euro's are now playing catch up to Lexus now that's Crazy I think Lexus has been in existence for like 15 years and has changed the game (like Mike did for the NBA) For example bmw 3 series all world, all magazines etc etc..... I drove the 330 and the IS 350 give me the IS that machine is a beast with the Nice sweet Lexus ride Now bmw is talking about adding turbos wtf BMW always says Turbos is a cheap way to get performance and now their talking about building turbos in their cars to become more competitive. I have a leased 545 when I first got it I thoght nothing could touch it then I saw the new GS and I was like dang this car is already outdated and now with the new LS with a 8-speed transmission with every luxury item I can think of now I just wished I never slept on Lexus maybe if they had an IS coupe and make the SC more sportier and more aggresive looking then I believe lexus would have the 6-rings like MJ.

I think that's a cool analogy. MJ never gives up and so will Lexus---they just keep it at a high level.

And the point: Mike Jordan is to Lexus as Chuck Norris is to roundhouse kicks...

There is a guy I knew growing up who works now at Active Autowerke in Miami and they have been doing turbos for quite some time on BMWs. BMW certainly took long enough.

I think that where the Euros need help is catching up to the Japanese in quality. Every year I see Consumer Reports and show it to my Mexican friends down here, they are just shocked to see that their high priced Benz or BMW has defects galore.

Again, BMW has used turbos for decades -- 2002 Turbo in the 70s, 745i in the 80s, and numerous diesel engines since the 90s.

Most countries has different brackets of annual registration fee, based on engine size. In order to gain the business in those countries, manufacturers will produce the same series of products with smaller engines (back in the 90s there's an Audi A8 with 1.8T engine in Europe). Americans don't get them because gas is relatively cheap here and we don't have such rules.

The easiest way to get torque and horsepower is to increase the displacement, but there's just that much you can do with an inline-6 engine -- heard that, without alterning the dimension of BMW's inline-6 engine, the max displacement it can go is around 3.2 to 3.4L. They just have to go for force induction to keep up with the horsepower war.
