Hi, I'm new here and just bought a used SC430. The cup holder can not lock after opened. And the side mirror should change down the angle after you drive with R gear, but It doesn't. Any one can tell how to fix it? many thanks..

Welcome all the way from HK!!

I don't know anything about the cup holder (other than not to buy large-size drinks at McD's) but the mirror only moves if the L/R selector is set. If the selector is in the middle, then the mirrors do not change angle when you drive in R gear.

The mirror motor is probably the weakest link in the whole SC (many failures), so personally I don't use that feature so as to save wear and tear.

Very good point Johnnycake.
My mirrors didn't tilt down when I first bought the car and thought that it's not a standard feature.
Anyhow, the other day, I had to adjust the side mirror since wifie drove it and had changed the setting. So I move the selector to the L and R to adjust my side mirrors. And amazingly, when I reversed backing the car into the garage, the side mirrors tilted

Johnnycake, Thanks for your help, I just spend a hour to take off the whole cup holder and fix it . It 's work probably now.
