Default 02 vs 06 front end

Hi Gang

I know this is a very subjective opinion but does it seem
The 06 grill and lights seems a bit overwhelming on the newer
SC ?

I know on the 06 , the SC went to a larger grill and the mags also
went to the larger 5 spoke rims over the pie rims of the 02

What do you guys think ?

Will you help us out and post up some pics for the sake of comparison and opinion?
If you do this, more people will respond.

Does the 06 have darker or black horizontal grill compare to the 02 which has a smoke silver finish.

Can anyone verify this?

I did a couple of comparison photos of the differences in the front grills on this thread ...If you go back to the beginning of the thread, there are lots of photos of ideas on how to do some simple modifications that change the looks significantly .

Default Will it fit

I need a new front bumper assy due to a bump-in. Parts are listed as 02-05 & 06-10. Will the newer bumper bolt up? I have found several of them, but no 02-05. Thanks

...it will bolt up, but not fit properly. The headlights are a different shape, so there will be a gap between headlights & bumper...almost forgot, the grills have a different shape also

I need a bumper cover too for a 2006. Did you find one reasonably priced? How about a pre-painted, new one? Please post some links.

Thanks.
