Rear emblem removal and replacement
I am going to replace my rear Lexus emblem. I tried using dental floss and goo be gone, but had no success. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Also, the new one I have didn't come with any adhesive. What is the best thing to use, or does it stay in place with the two plastic pieces sticking out of the back of it??
Thanks-

I took off the Lexus and SC430 on both ends. Yep, you need to heat up the emblem to make it workable, I used my wife's little hair dryer. Also instead of using dental floss the whole way, I found it easier to use the floss only to start it then I use a string (fishing line or wool strings) to get a better pull. The Goo Gone works wonder to take off the adhesive residue left on the vehicle, just be patient with it and take your time.
