Default What to buy for control arm bushings????

After doing some research, I am finding that Daizen is for all purposes out of business since the owner has passed away. What are people now buying to replace their bushings with Polyurethane bushings? I am planning on changing bushings and ball joints all at one time.. Any info would be helpful

Looks like TM Engineering has Daizen control arm bushings for sale. I recently bought their Daizen sway bar bushings with no problems. http://www.tmengineering.net/suspens...n/make/sc.html

Is there a noticeable difference using polyurethane control arm bushings? I know the sway bushings made a difference.

I believe TM Engineering is also defunct. If they are still open, the feedback that has been posted is not very favorable to them. Also unless they have a stock pile of Daizen bushings, they cannot get them either...
Someone must have found another source somewhere......

I ordered my Daizen sway bushings about a month ago with no problems. Someone else ordered from them more recently with positive results. Just speaking from experience although you're right, others have had problems in the past. Here's a list of dealers for Daizen, you can try contacting them and pick which you like: http://www.daizensporttuning.com/menu/dealers.html. If Daizen stopped making them, most of the time dealers will have a stockpile, so it's worth a try contacting them.

If you plan to DIY, take some pics and let us know how it goes

How long have you had them on? They may need to be re-greased, see if that helps

I have ordered from them with absolutely no issues and I'm outside the US!

This was recently as well.

You may want to make sure the BallJoints can even be replaced On the control arms.
for the sc300/sc400 they cannot be changed, you have to buy all new control arms. but the bushings can be purchased separately.

They are replaceable....The sc300-400 use a completely different Control arm....Plus the bushings are a real pain to replace in those arms...cut out or burn out! The SC430's are not bad at all to replace.
