Is there a fix for a slow moving window regulator, or is it about to die and can't be saved?

Lol, my Regulator is doing the same thing and I'm getting rid of my working regulator. I know my 92 window was like that and it took some bending due to rubbing.

Take the entire regulator and motor apart. Regrease all moving parts and clean the terminals of the motor. Trust me it's not dying it's just dirty and lost all its grease.

Spray some silicone lube in the tracks that are on the outside of the door, lower the window first.

^ interested in the results. I've been meaning to take my door apart, clean out all the dirt/dust and silicone spray it forever, but just havent had the chance. If you get good results (ie, quicker, smoother, quieter) it'll get my a$$ into gear finally do it lol.

yea my driver side goes quick and then once it gets to the top it reeaaaaallly slows down. it's pretty funny that newer cars do this purposely so you can creak the window open just a little.

Any update on this, and how the silicone spray worked?
I just purchased some door trim b-pillars (the replace the fading ones), so I'm going to be taking my doors apart to install these soon. Wanna clean out my window motors or tracks or whatever as well..

Clean your tracks, run window up & down, watch for any binding as you do this, adjust track as needed to remove binding. Lubricate all slides & moving parts with white lithium grease. Lubricate rubber parts with silicone spray lubricant. Replace any broken or heavily worn parts. Of course number 1,remove door panel.
